IIS icon not apearing in may administrative tools

| I have installed IIS from my XP Pro cd but I do not see the IIS icon when I
go to control panel/administrative tools. The documentation says it should
be there but its not.
Any ideas as to where I can look?

You can get to the same tools via Right-Clicking on "My Computer" and going
to "Manage".
Be advised, I got the same error you did on my XP machine at one point... I
had to reinstall the operating system to fix it.
