Red "error" icon against Default Web Site - but what is the error?
|
|
|
| How can I determine what the error is when an "error" icon is displayed?
The icon is of no use to me. I need to know what the error is? It doesnt
seem to be displayed anywhere.

Forgot to mention,
I am using Windows XP Pro (SP2),
MMC 2.0 and IIS5.1
Would appreciate some pointers because I'm totally lost as to what the
problem is.

| Can you browse the default site ?
did you change the web root path ? or any NTFS permission ?
the 'red error' icon is on the website itself or nodes under the website ?
virtual directory ? anything in event log ?
