Hi there!

I'm running IIS on Windows XP to test various websites that I'm
building. Since a while I have got the following. Whenever I go to
localhost to preview a site a lot of images don't show. You have to
refresh the page a couple of times and if you lucky than all the
images show. If I upload this site to the webserver it is not a
problem. All paths are correct so that is not the issue.
Does this have to with the memory on my machine, or do I have to set
something within IIS? I have checked the IIS log file and all the
images are loaded correctly.
I am really puzzled so can somebody give me clue?

Thanks in advance,
Michelle

You're most likely running into the connection limitation of running IIS on
a non-server OS:

Thanks very much for your quick reply.
I have never heard of this but it does indeed look like it is the cause.
I guess I just have to ask my boss for Windows 2003 Server ;)

Greetings,
Michelle
