I ran into a similar problem with my linksys. I'll assume
you opened up port 20 and 21 on your router. My problem
is I can't get a user on the net to be able to use IE to
access my ftp site if they use passive mode. Active mode
works. I'm watching this thread for answers.

Dundict,

I have got port 20 and 21 open.

But this never helps!!

My FTP server works perfect locally!

All problem is Linksys BEFVP41

I did open other ports as well like 50000-50100 but nothing helps.

So!

If I want FTP server for everyone than I must have both modes (Active And Passive) supported FTP server.

IIS does supports both!
And IIS works nicelly with no problem!

But shit called linksys does not!

I can try your ftp if you send me the information!

Best regards
