Hi Guys, i started using Visual Studio Net and i'm trying to connect
to my site in the remote server (hosting company) but without success.
They tell me that i have all the access granted. The share mode from
Visual Studio Net i cannot use it on remote so i have to choose the
option FrontPage Extensions but everytime is asking me the username and
password to connect to the remote server. That too without success.

Is Visual Studio Net absolutely need the IIS to connect even remote?

Under IIS (5.0) is there any way to erase the Default WebSite and
re-create all the files and extensions for Front Page? Now, under my
Default Web Site there is only 2 folders (printers and _vti_bin) is that ok?

Thanks guys for any help you can give me!

William!

This is how I do it.
You need to create a empty FrontPage web first. Make sure that you can
access it. Then you can either create an application on your desktop then
Copy application (all files) to the FrontPage web, it'll ask you if you want
to connect to a share or FP. Some times you have to change the path in the
Share text box to reflect the URL of you FP web. I do this all the time
flawlessly.
Or create an application with the destintation of you FP web. I've done it
both ways.
