hi,

I have all the latest service pack for W2K..

all my web pages are in the right places. (same as when I installed)..

now when I execute any page.. asp, html, htm, cfm it says 'http 404' page
not found..
all the services are running..

the only change was the local drive 'everyone' had full control.. I change
that to read/list/execute. and give full control to administrator.. since
then the problem started.

I even add iusr_ and give read/list/execute right.. nothing..

please advice..
thanks in advance

Hi,

Turn off IE friendly error messages:
Internet Tools -> Options -> Advanced
And post the "real" error back
