Author adding file extensions to asp

I've been playing around with HttpHandlers and want to add a new file
extension to asp runtime.

So far, I have Launched Internet Servisces Manager > Default Web Site
> Properties > Home Directory > Configuration. This brings up the

Application Configuration dialog. So, I clicked Add and filled the
Executable field with the path to the aspnet_isapi.dll and entered my
file extension in the Extension fiels. Now to my problem. The OK
button is grayed out. I can't complete the operation.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think correct is this:

Executable: C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll
Extension: mye
All Verbs checked
Script Engine checked
Check that file exists checked

What IIS you use? IIS5 or 6?

Nope, did not work. OK button still grayed out.
Using IIS 5.1. XP Pro.

Hello Vicki,
I think this is a GUI problem. If the OK button is disabled, try clicking
in one of the text boxes (for the extension or the executable) and that
should enable the OK button. An article discussing a similar issue will be
made public soon. Here is a link where you can access it in the future:

Hope this helps!
