IIS Server - Indexing service not working

I am using Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (IIS).

My search.aspx complains:

"Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification
starting at index 16. "

The line that this points to is:

odbSearch.ConnectionString = "Provider=MSIDXS;Data Source=Web"

I believe that this is the setup for Windows 2000 Server, so maybe I'm
not setting it up correctly.

This looks like it would be resolved by the following hotfix 823679 Fix:
Multiple Fixes for SQL Server .NET Data Provider
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=823679

You need to call Product Support to get this hotfix, and there is no charge
for it.
