Hi all,

Some of my clients are experiencing difficulties publishing to some (but not
all) IIS sites on several servers. Some of the errors displayed on the
screen are listed below. According to the users, no other users are editing
or attempting to publish to the same site. As well, the Security logs gets
filled with Event ID 560.

Error 1) - The file you submitted, _borders/top.htm, already exists. It was
last modified by "domain\username" on "date/time". Do you want to replace
this with your file?

Error 2) - A more recent version of folder/file.htm has been saved to the
server by "domain\username" on "date/time". Do you want to replace it with
your file?

Error 3) - Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy. Please try again.

I have found plenty of information suggesting the following
fixes/workarounds:
- Save to a text file first
- Upgrade XP to SP2
- Delete the .lck files
- etc.

Running out of ideas. I haven't tried to upgrade the workstations to SP2
since this is a corporate environment and we're trying to keep the clients
at the same level. Has this work for anyone in the past?

Thanks,

Al
