I'm not sure if this is the correct location to post this problem, but I need
help. Well, for some strange reason whenever I try to open up some web pages
or PDF files, my internet explorer closes and I have to back track through
all my processes to figure out the paths I had previously taken. I have tried
running virus protectors but nothing has yet to come up. What should I do,
b/c one time trying to open a PDF file an error message came up, saying
"AcroRd32.exe needs to shut down...", but i just reinstalled Acrobat reader
7.0 and same problem.

It's not. You want an Internet Explorer group, IIS is a web server.

Hi Peter,

There seems to be a problem with Acrobat Reader.

In the browser, try to right click the link and click "Save Target As" to
download the PDF file. They try to open it. Does it work?

Please repost this question to the Internet Explorer newsgroup if it works
to open it directly in the Acrobat application, but not in Internet
Explorer. They might be able to give you more help on this, because this
newsgroup is for IIS (a webserver).

You might also want to contact Adobe about this problem. Their application
seems to be the problem (since your error message tells so).

IE newsgroups:

Adobe Forums:

I hope you get this resolved.
