| ACT and WCAT are different tools that are not directly compatible with each
other. ACT supported a dynamic script as well as static URL -- WCAT only
supports static URL-like concept, so dynamic script from ACT does not work
as-is in WCAT.
However, most of performance/stress testing is related to CONCEPTS that are
independent of implementation, so treat the tools as different tools testing
similar concepts, and you should see that some patterns are common.

Hi - new comer to the list
I am looking to build on some work I did using ACT (Application Center Test)
from the MSDN KIt and take advantage of the new stuff in IIS 6 Resource Kit
that featues the WCAT (Web Capacity Analysis Tool Version 5.2) for load
testing and performance monitoring under laod.
My question is can I use the scripts generated by ACT in conjunction with
the WCAT tool?
Also does any one have some more complex samples of the scripts used by
WCAT?
Thanks
