I guess the subject says it all. My IIS6 server will publish on the LAN
perfectly with no problem. But on the internet, if anyone pulls it up, it
says "Website found, waiting for reply" in the bottom of Internet Explorer
and continues to try to pull it up until it times out a couple mins later. My
router has port fowarding set up correctly. My IIS is configured to except
conections on all IPs assigned. Please help. Very desprate. Thank you

Does your ISP block port 80?

Hi,

As Jeff says, please make sure that your ISP does not block port 80.

Do you use the external IP, from a machine located outside your router,
when you try to access the website?

My ISP does not block port 80. My site was working perfectly until I upgraded
from 2000 to 2003. Now it only works on lan. I have tried pulling up with my
domain name and my external IP.

What is reported by the web server? If you don't get anything in the log,
then you didn't get there.
Are you aware 2003 has a firewall?

Have you looked at the IIS logfile to see if the request is getting
through? Your firewall logs? Tested by IP alone?
