Hello,

I am having a problem and cannot figure it out. I have a dc that is running
two Web sites. I have asp.net installed. The websites are running fine
(one is running dnn4). I have FTP enabled with my two websites as a virtual
directories under the Default FTP Site. I can connect to the websites but
cannot transfer files to them.

When trying to upload files I get the following error message.

"An error occurred copying a files to the FTP Server. Make sure you have
permission to put files on the server.

Details:
220 Type set to I.
227 entering passive mode (My IP Address, 12, 204)
550 Access is denied"

This was with the administrator account. I have used ws_ftp, dreamweaver,
ie all have the same problem. I have checked permissions everything seems
okay. Please help!

Make sure your NTFS file permissions for Administrator allow "write".

I checked write permissions first.

There is a check box in the virtual FTP folder that allows for "Write" as
well. That also must be checked as well as the NTFS permissions on the
folder tree.

Already checked this when first troubleshooting.
