I recently updated our Exchange 2003 server to Exchange 2003 SP1 and Windows
2003 SP1. Exchange works but I am receiving DCOM (Event ID: 10016) and COM+
(Event ID: 4830) errors. In addition IIS is no longer working properly.
All attempts to connect to OWA (port 443) or Symantec (port 8081) result in
an HTTP 500 "Internal Server Error". The IIS logs state " /MainFrame.asp
|-|ASP_0146|New_Session_Failed 8081 MANGO\administrator 10.1.2.2
Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322)
500 0 0". I could find no information at the MS support web site. The two
event IDs are not listed and "New_Session_Failed" is also not found.
Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

If "Exchange" is working then IIS is working.

Is your problem that ASP in general is not working, or /MainFrame.asp page
itself is not working. You can test by creating a sample ASP page, put it on
the web server, requesting it, and seeing what happens.

Thanks. Additional investigation disclosed a COM+ error complaining of low
virtual memory. I modified the virtual memory settings and rebooted the
server a few minutes ago and the problem is resolved. Thanks.
