I have change my computername but the IUSR_COMPUTERNAME still using the old

Thanks!

Hello,

It is just a name, so i don't think it matter if they are using the old or
the new computer name.

Anyway, you can rename an account in the same way as you do with other
accounts. There may however be a problem with that, since the username is
also stored in the metabase, so you must also rename it there.

If you are not having any problems, i would suggest that you leave it
alone.

The account automatically configures that way on install of IIS, but
there's no correlation between system name and account name. Or even
that the account has to be named IUSR_{MachineName}. You could change
the anonymous user account to "Bob" if you wanted.

In otherwords, since this account is virtually never touched by a
human and the name doesn't matter, don't worry about it and move on.
