I have tried many times. When I install IIS it goes through the install and
then it says ''Please Wait' and I have waited over an hour and it doesnt go
away( killed the task in taskmanager). So then I try to install the .net
framework 1.1 (my ultimate goal is to get VB.Net working so I can create
ASP.net applications) and the framework hangs (killed that task the same
way).

When I try to create an ASP web project it just hangs too. (i can just close
the .net ide and its fine)

I have tried uninstalling IIS and it hangs. I have also stopped all the
non-microsoft services (using msconfig and rebooting) prior to all of this.

I have XP (no service packs) and all the fixes/critical files. I am
clueless and need desperate help to get this working.

Mark

Are their any logs i can send if so, where are they located and what are
they called?
