My webserver is running W2k3 (without SP1) and IIS6.
We have some files that are more than 50mb and each time someone is trying
to download them they get "the connection was reset by the server".
I think this is a timeout parameter that does it and I dont know which one.
1, is there a way to change these settings in the IIS?
2, is it possible to download large files using http?

thanks

If you are using download usign a ASP page then you can change the time out
in IIS by going into the property of default web server then then clicking on
"home directory | configuration | App Option" and change the ASP script
timeout from 90 sec (default) to what ever you want (I suggest not more than
300 sec.). Also remember the IE has a time out of 300 sec..

solved.
there are two option to solve this case.
1, http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...KB;EN-US;886461
2, install SP1 for W2k3 server (contains the fix).

i installed the SP1
