I need help sending an attachment via telnet e-mail.
Any ideas on a newsgroup that can help?

I could also FTP the file but I'm having issues scripting that process.

telnet to smtp and attach files ? well - I don't know - most likely not.

as for the ftp question:
- give more detail about your setup, OS version and etc
- error msgs ? what problem
- ftp log ?
- etc

possibly using blat.exe.
you can probably give it all of the variables you need to replace using
telnet.
I know that you can feed it the server and login name and attachment info.

Do a search for blat.exe.
