| I am running Windows Server 20003.
I just configured an FTP site using IIS. I configured the firewall so that
i can access the site from the outside.
When i currently access the site, it logs in automatically. How do i
configure the site so that it prompts me to login with a username and
password.
I did try taking the check mark off "allow anonymous connections", but when
i entered the username and password it wouldnt allow me in, even though i am
using an admin account.
Thanks,
Greg

| Have you tried setting up an account in active directory or user management,
other then the admin and then assign it appropriate permissions?

| yeah i tried setting up 3 accounts like that.
I just tried accessing the ftp site from the outside using one of those
accounts. When i log on to the FTP site it gives me an error saying that i
cant access the site do to a permission error, but i am still able to access
the files in the folder anyway.
I saved the site as a favorite place and when i go to the site from there it
opens up fine. Any ideas as to why i am getting an error initially when i
try to log in??
