Application viewer error messageS

| I am getting a flury of error messages in my event viewer, almost 80 a
minute. It appears to be benign, the server is running fine. However, I'd
like to clear up the error messages.
Any suggestions?
The Open Procedure for service "MSFTPSVC" in DLL
"C:\WINNT\system32\ftpctrs2.dll" failed. Performance data for this service
will not be available. Status code returned is data DWORD 0.
Unable to collect the FTP performance statistics. The error code returned
by the service is data DWORD 0.

"C:\WINNT\system32\infoctrs.dll" failed. Performance data for this service

Unable to read the first counter index value from the registry. The error
code returned by the registry is data DWORD 0.

| I don't have performance monitor running, and I'm using IIS 5.0 (Windows
2000) I ran diskperf /n to disable.
