As you may guess by the subject, I'm a beginner.

Setting up and configuring the FTP service won't be a
problem; I have someone to help me but, as me, he doesn't
know what to ask our Internet Service Provider!

So, before setting up and configuring the FTP service,
should I contact my ISP to let them know what will be the
ftp site address? Should I ask for an IP address? How
does that work exactly?

Can someone help me!
