I have a problem downloading or uploading files to FTP site of the hosting
company… here is brief explanation of situation we dealing with:
Our website is hosted by someone else, and we have a FTP site created by
them for us for uploading (our typical upload contains lot of small size
files). Here are my findings:
1.we trying to upload files from one of our locations and it works fine
2.Then trying to upload from different location and upload will stop after
approximately 120 seconds with message “access denied, check your permission,
connection reset by server, etc.)
3.Then trying to upload same files (from same location) to different FTP
server elsewhere and works fine!!!
So first I was thinking this is source problem since you can upload from one
location but no other but, doing test from same location to 2 different FTPs
works for one but no other… any idea?
I’m lost, am I missing something?
I cannot get log files from FTP server since I have no admin access to it.
Hosting company blaming our source of upload since other can upload to this
fine, including our self from location 1, people working on location 2
blaming destination point (hosting FTP) since they can upload files to other
FTP…..
