Hey guys,

We've been stumped with this for a few days now. We're having an issue
with FTP and being able to upload anything to the server. From within
the network we're able to both send and receive using FTP, but once
we're outside of the network, logging in as the administrator, we can
do anything but send files to the server. We get the following error
messages:

200 PORT command successful.
550 Access is denied.

We're using IIS on Windows Server 2003. The administrator of course
has all privileges, and write is enabled on FTP. When I open up the
log that IIS generates, I can see the login that we're making when
trying to connect to the FTP, but I don't see any approve or deny
messages when we're trying to upload a file.

I would also like to add that we have to go through an ISA server first
in order to get to the FTP server from the outside, but the ISA guys
say it's not ISA and we're thinking the same thing. ISA does not catch
anything in the log with what we're trying to do and everything has
been setup correctly.

This is happening at two seperate client sites. Is there anything that
you guys can think of that we're missing that we can check to get this
working?

If it works internally and not externally, It's not FTP. It's ISA or
the client. Using passive or active mode? And when you tried the
other one?
