Microsoft Anti-Spyware FTP Tracks Eraser
|
|
|
| First of all i appologise for posting in this section as i could not decide
which one to post in!
I recently used Microsoft's Anti-Spyware tracks eraser and included erase
tracks fro Windows FTP Accounts.
Now, a website i run is not allowing me to upload files from my pc on the
FTP file manager online...
I never had errors uploading before i used tracks eraser.
Can anyone help? My website "help desk" is not very helpful. as far as they
are concerned everything is fine at their end!
Please Help!
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!

| Mm... I'm not sure what did it erase though
Anyway, don't think it is so 'dumb' and delete those user account.
Now, can you try ftp.exe and connect to the server?

What exactly do you mean by "not allowing"? Are you testing with the
command line FTP client so you can see the response codes?

| I don't know how to use ftp.exe! and by not working, i mean, when i go on my
website "supplier" or whatever it is, i go into file manager and cick to
upload files. EVERY file upload is coming back "error" and i can't upload
anything at all.
If you could explain how to use ftp.exe i would be grateful!
Thanks

That may or may not be FTP, but it's definitely someting your provider
should be able to help with.

At a command line, type FTP [ENTER]. Type HELP [ENTER] at the prompt.
