Author User Cannot PUT files
ShootMePlease

I have setup a Win 2003 server with IIS FTP. I have configured the site to
allow Read and Write Access. The server is located on the same subnet that
I am doing this test, so there should be no firewall issues. I am logging
into the site using a domain user account. I have also made certain that my
user account has "Full Control" permissions on the folder. When I logon to
the FTP site I can see all the files there. When I try to upload a file FTP
Explorer tells me that it uploaded sucessfully, but only it didn't.

Any ideas why? Is there a common setup mistake that I've done here?

Thanks for any advice or help,
SMP

Here's some additional info. I just discovered.

When I change the properties of the FTP site to use "all unassigned" ip
addresses it seems to work fine. As soon as I specify an IP address, that's
when it breaks.

That just doesn't make sense.
Try to to set to the specific IP, then restart FTP services, then try again.

if it breaks, post the ftp server log entries here.
make sure you have checked the 'write' box in ftp site property
