Hi,

I am using FTP to send file. Is there any way to insert carriage return
character after every 80 character in the file.

shure you can write your own ftp client, that read the text file and after
80 char insert a CR/LF character and finally send the text file.

But this is a client "problem" and not a ftp server "problem"
