FTP connection resetting

| Hello,
I am running Windows 2003 w/IIS 6.0 and have set up a FTP site. When I
connect to it using IE 6.0 (not using passive mode) and attempt to transfer
files, the connection usually resets itself after about 20 minutes. I have
tried to set the default connection timeout on that site to 10,000 seconds
and have had no luck.
I have noticed that WS_FTP client has a bit more reliable connection but
notice the connection timing while using that program as well.
I have my web server behind a Linksys Cable DSL Firewall Router.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

| No comment, all I can say is that IE is NOT an decent ftp client.
it's a browser.
