FTP Error 550 Acess Denied

| I have a SBS 2003 with ISA 2004 and IIS I believe its 6.0. Anyways what is
going on is that i want to upload documents to my FTP site via my website
service provider. Whenever I try this it give me the following error:
FTP Error
An erro occurred copying a file to the FTP server. Make sure you have
permissions to put the files on the server.
Details
200 Type set to I
227 Entering PAssive Mode (207,38,23,164,234,70)
550 Access id denied.
When i try and upload the same document the same way outside my network (my
house) I can upload with no issues. What is going on and how can I fix it?

| I have to assume that you are using the ISA Server to publish your FTP server
since you mentioned ISA Server 2004. In ISA Server by default your FTP rule
will be Read Only. I would suggest checking here first to see if this is your
issue.
On ths SMS Server go into the ISA Server Manager and go into the firewall
rules. Find the rule for publishing FTP and right click on the rule. You will
see a checkbox that states read only, uncheck this and save your changes to
the ISA Server. This should correct the 550 error you are seeing.
Please let me know if this helps.

Find FTP protocol definition on your ISA server and uncheck application
filter "FTP Access filter".
