Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

| I keep getting this message when i go to particular
websites...i've been trying to figure out what this is
all day.......i've been to every website but i don't
understand any of them..
can someone please help me!

This *might* be related to a recent IE Cumulative Update.

I'll have to double check at the office what the error code we were seeing
was.
Bear with me as it makes no sense at all. We have seen similar errors with
ASP pages calling .NET Components via COM on Windows Server 2003 and also
ASP.NET on Windows 2000 after application of this patch. Now, it has been
very hit or miss as we only saw this on 1 out of 1000 Windows 2000 servers
but we did see it on about half of our 2003 boxes. Why an IE update would
have any effect on server or website or ASP.NET functionality is what makes
no sense at all.
Anyway, you might try uninstalling this patch, reboot, go grab MS03-048 and
apply that and reboot again. This did resolve our issues.
