I have a client with a Windows 2000 server running IIS. They have a number
of Pocket PCs (2002) and one PC wirelessly connecting to an ASP app on a
closed intranet. After installing the security update for MDAC, the pocket
PCs usually error with "page your are looking for can't be found" but
sometimes they connect with a delay of 30 seconds or so. It doesn't make
any difference if it's and .asp or .htm page.

The desktop machine running IE 6 has no problem accessing the same pages.

The main difference between the desktop and the PPCs is that the PPCs are
running IE 3.1. Nothing else besides the Windows update has been installed
or changed.

I'm thinking it's a security issue but can't find any obvious issues.

Any suggestions for trouble shooting this?

Many thanks

IE 3.1? Been out of date forever. Probably won't support much of anything.

I know that but that's the only thing that came with PocketPCs until the
last year. It's not upgradable.
