| Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to disable the FTP server in my
IIS 6.0. How can I launch the "IIS Security Lockdown
Wizard"?
Thanks very much for the help.

| Hi,
You can rmeove the FTP service using "remote control" -> "Add/Remove
programs" -> "Add/Remove Microsoft components" -> "Internet Information
Services" -> "Details" -> uncheck "File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Server".
Or
You can just disable the service from the services consol.

| Answer to your second question -
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;325864
read carefully and following referenced links - If you use Frontpage or
Exchange OWA or WEBDAV also search the KB with one of these words plus
URLScan or lockdown
