Remove FTP Anonymous Login Prompt
|
|

| We login to our FTP site via Internet Explorer, using account usernames &
passwords to login. When I go to open the files in the directory I'm
prompted with an FTP login prompt, either logging on as anonymous or a user.
How do I remove this prompt ? Because once I'm authenticated using my FTP
account name & password I should just be able to open and view files from
here.
Under Inetpub\ftproot\customeraccount
The authenticated users group & localhost\customeraccount user has the
following rights to this folder:
Read & Execute
Read
Write
List folders contents
However the FTP login prompt still appears.....
Help ?
Thank you

| You mean you got another login prompt after you login to the ftp site ?
Can you post related ftp log here ?
if you already logged on, you will get access denied if you don't have the
required permission, but login prompt ?
unless you are reconnecting again.
also try ftp.exe and perform the same actions, what do you get ?

| Yes, I get another login prompt called: FTP Login
I'm connecting through my browser, entering the account username and
password. Then only when I double click the file to open it brings up the
FTP Login Prompt, options are annoymous or user (where u type ur details in
