I have tried searching for this but was unable to find anything. I was just
wondering if you set the IE User Authentication Logon to Prompt for user name
and password. And set up an IIS web site to Integrated Windows
Authentication. Can you still authenticate through the prompt dialog box? I
have an XP Professional machine with IIS on it and when I try to connect to a
site with integrated authentication on my iis server it never accepts any of
the login and passwords I try. I'm not on a domain or anything, it's a
standalone system. Just wondering if it even works at all.

Thanks

Yes it works, but Windows Integrated is best suited to an intranet
environment on a Windows domain.

Can we stick to one thread?
