Problem installing a certificate authority...

| Hi Folks,
I am trying to install a certificate authority (CA) to a fairly locked
down Windows 2003 server that also runs IIS6. I have used various
guides to securing the server, and I think that one of the processes
involved in securing the server is preventing me from installing and
running a CA.
When I first tried to install the service it failed during the
installation wizard saying "The Server services is not started".
After this I installed File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft
Networks. When I removed the CA and reinstalled it, I then get the
error "The specified network path can not be found."
Are there any services or components of Windows 2003 that need to be
installed before you can install a CA?
Can anyone suggest what the above problem is, and how to fix it?
Thanks,
Andrew McCall
