| Hi All,
I am getting this error when I try to browse a web site installed on II6, although it asks for password and user ID, and I am providing domain admin ID and password, but it keep prompt for ID and password then gives this error message.
the web site has been set to use Anonymous access and Integrated Windows authentication is selected.
and of course these IIS is running.
it might have something to do with DC policy.
Any Ideas.
Thanks for help

| Hello,
Download following tool and make sure you have set the permissions and policies correctly as Q812614.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...&DisplayLang=en
And refer to this KB:

I can't see the message, I don't open attachments in newsgroups. You
may want to post the message in text.

If you don't want to authenticate users, turn off Windows Integrated
authentication.

Does the page work when you don't use authentication (Anynomous only)?
Have you checked the effective permissions on the file/folder for the
account you're logging in as?
