In IIS 5.0 you could establish a default domain for Integrated Authentication to use. However, in IIS 6.0 you have to enable Basic Authentication to enable this option. I have done this, but I am still unable to login without using domain\password or user
name@domain.com. I have a Windows 2000 Active Directory that this intranet server is a part of. What do I need to do to this Windows Server 2003 to allow users to login without the domain name?

The Windows Server 2003 is on the same domain as our AD. However, when
the user logs on the site uses machinename.domain.com as the default
domain and not domain.com. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry. I researched in Win2003, you will need to enter the username via
domain\user, you can't sent DefaultLoginDomain name.

The default domain input box is only available for Basic auth or .Net
Passport auth.
