i keep getting websites added to my favorites, that i have
not added is there any way of stopping that from
happening, help

Try IE newsgroups.. this is IIS web server security.

Try a search on google, or yahoo, or msn for "Ad Ware". There are applications that will clean ad ware off of your computer for free, but you will have to look for them. The free versions will typically only clean your computer, not prevent them from com
ing back to your computer. Like anti-virus software, you can pay a yearly fee and get a copy of the software that will prevent this type of stuff from happening. Ad ware can do much worse things than just adding stuff to your favorites list. It all depend
s on what web sites you go to. Certian web site ared what does this to your computer. I hope this helps!
