SChannel and IIS

I was wondering if there was a way to manually restart the SChannel Security Provider in order to avoid a complete reboot of the machine? I have a requirement to re-establish some connections that happen during the initial startup of the schannel and do n
ot want to restart the machine everytime this may occur.
