Hajo,
I would like to buy a ssl certifacte in thawte.
But they offer two types of them:
1. SSL123 http://www.thawte.com/ssl123
2. and web server sss http://www.thawte.com/ssl/
and I do know what is the essential differnece between them.
I will use them on IIs 6.0.
Any suggestions ?

It looks like the 123 certs are cheaper and get to you faster. They do less
stringent investigation of you which for you is a plus (ie. speed) but for
your customers could be a negative. We have found virtually no users who
give a hoot about what SSL cert you have as long as there is no security
warnings. That being the case, I say go for cheap and fast. If you think
you have customers who are more picky and savvy, (ie. they check the type
of cert you have when they surf to your site and quit if it doesn't meet
their requirments) then choose the pricier one.
