Migrating from Windows NT to Windows 2000

| Hi,
We are planning to migrating our current Windows NT
to Windows 2000. I am looking for a checklist that shows
what are all the steps we need to makesure the migration
will be smooth and successfull. Specifically, checklist
and configuration changes related to SSL - Digital
certificates. We have issued digital certificates to our
customers, will there be any impact to the customer if we
upgrade our Windows NT server to Windows 2000. If so what
are the changes we need to do in order to make this work.
We are using Verisign for Digital certificates.
Your help is greatly appreciatead.

| Hi Raj,
Since you probably have some specific solutions that only you know about, my
best advice I can give you is do a test migration in your lab. You should be
able to use same hardware as you will in production. Write down all steps
that you took during test migration. Once your test environment works as it
should, tear it down and setup new production environment.
If I understand correctly you will move to new hardware. This should provide
you with some safety net. If new production is not behaving as it should,
you can still switch back to old production till you sort out any
problems...
