only administrators are able to access IIS...

| hi,
i have recently installed IIS in win Xp pro. As an administrator, i can do
all but as user, it always asks for administrative password. i want everyone
access on it as security is not that much of a concern. how can this be done.
pls guide me.

| Hi,
Can you right click on your web site in your IIS and select Properties.
Click on Directory Security tab and click on first Edit button from top to
bottom. Make sure that Anonymous access is enabled.
Next thing, note the path to Home directory in Home directory tab. Make sure
that on file system IUSER_<PC_Name> (built in account) has read permission
(only read!) on the folder defined under Home path.
