Updated vp spyware critical etc for I6 on w2k. Since
update have not been able to access any secure sites -
either loops back to sign-in or http error message. help!
running through aol or i6 same results.

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by vp, spyware, critical or I6. Did
you install a critical update for IE? The most recent one? what exact word
for word error message you're getting is *always* useful to post when
looking for tech support... as is the version of Windows you're using and
the patch you just installed. If you don't know the last item, click on
Start, Run, type EVENTVWR and click OK, then look in the System or
Application Event Log during the time of the patch installation for
information on intalled patches.

This isn't the right group for questions about web browsers. Look for a
newsgroup about IE.

You might try rebooting, and if the problem continues, try uninstalling the
patch in Start, Settings, Control Panel, add/remove programs and then
rebooting... although I would be surprised if the patch was really the
problem.
