I am trying to grant access for a folder in IIS to a particular public IP
address.

I did it through the single computer and DNS lookup.

However, was given "You are not authorized to view this page" error when I
tried viewing the page.

Any help is appreciated. Thnks

I believe this would be a "friendly error" displayed be IE. Can you turn off
the "Show friendly HTTP error messages" in IE. You can find this option
under Tools -> Internet option -> Advanced ...

Can you check again what the error is?

Can you also describe a bit more what your setup is like (IIS, firewall,
....) and what exactly you want to do (why do you want to limit this to IP
and not to username & password). More information that you give us, easier
it will be for us to help you (not to mention faster)...

if u check the "Grant Access" then default is all computers can access
the folder. only the pc's in the list r restricted.

when u say "Restrict Access" then all pc's r forbidden.
only the pc's in the list r allowed.

best regards,
