IUSR_ ... domain account
|
|
|
| Hi,
I have a Windows 2000 server with IIS installed in a windows 2003 domain.
I need to change the IUSR anonimous account from local to domain account.
I create the user, used the adsutil set ...
I set the User right on the local security policy,
but when I access the site I have an Internal server error 500.
On the event viewer I find that the user cannot logon locally,
but if I check in the effective settings of the local security policy I find
that he can.
How can I resolve?
thanks a lot,
Mari

| there are many files and directory where you have to set the permission.
Check the article below

| Hi,
ht problem is that the error in event viewer is that the domain user cannot
logon locally. Is it possible that by default I have a domain policy that
set deny logon for this user?
thanks,
Mary

| I solved ...
I put in the IIS authentication only the username,
and not the domain\username (that appear if you choose the user with the
browse button)!
bye
