Can Somone mimick another one's Yahoo ID ?

Someone posted in a newsgroup Using My Own Yahoo ID
in a Yahoo group that I'm a co-moderator of.

They made the post to look like I were syaing that my

password was found by someone!!

My password is a good one (combination of letters and

numbers) and NO ONE GOT ACCESS TO IT.

I do have a fire Wall (hardware firewall).

Just wondering how could this happen?

I dont download anything i'm not sure and i'm a pretty

careful user. I even went to symantec website and had them

test my pc security and it was ok.......all ports are

closed and such. I use the internet from win2k server.

Just can't understand how could something like this happen!

Any ways of preventing this from happening again?

Thank you very much

mike

Not using IIS, which is what this group's topic is. Try a generl
security group, or Yahoo support.
