404 (401.1) in OWA 2003

| Hello
OWA on 2003 works fine except that whenever a mail has a dot in the
subject like "FW:" or "RE:" The client get a 404. Other mails are shown
just fine
In IIS 5.0 one could configure this behavior in the URLscan.ini file
but since I am using IIS 6.0 there is no URL scan.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

| Hi,
I don't see any "." in the two subject lines you have below - only colons:
":"
I don't have any problems with subjects containing colons in OWA2003 that
I'm using.
Cheers
Ken

| Hi Ken
Sorry, dots and colons - same problem.

| As far as I know, there is nothing instrinsic in OWA or IIS6 that should
stop people opening messages with : or . in the subject lines.
a) Do you have URLScan installed on this machine?
b) Can you post the corresponding logfile entries from the IIS logfile?
Cheers
