Author Certificate question...

Currently have an IIS 6.0 server running an application that is using a
Verisign certificate.

We are in the process of building a new version of the application which
will be tested out on a different IIS 6.0 test server.

Is there a way I can use the current production certificate on this test box?
Is there some way to fake it out? Or do I need to go out and buy a brand new
cert?

thanks fro any help....

You should be able to export the certificate on your current server and
import it in test environment.

Open MMC and add Certificate Snap-In on the server where certificate is.
Select Computer Account and Local Computer in the wizard. Once MMC is loaded
go under Personal -> Certificates. Right click on the certificate and select
All tasks and Export. Follow the wizard and make sure that you select
"Export the private keys". Once you have .pfx file copy it to the test
server and double click on PFX file to import it...
