IS there is a way to prevent GET data posted to a server from logging to the
web server logs? I have sensative information being sent that I would not
like logged for a GET (I would still like to log POST though). Is there a
configuration setting in IIS for this?

Uncheck cs-uri-query in W3 Extended Logging - Extended Properties
dialogue...

Cheers
