IIS requiring auth.

| Why am i being asked for authentication? Anonymous & Integrated are
checked, Everyone has read/execute. The same exact settings work for the
3 other IIS web servers I have. If I uncheck Integrated it gives me a
401.1. This is driving me nuts...(I don't need much help! ;-) )
Thanks!

Sounds like the IUSR password specified in the IIS MMC may not match the one
for the account.

Well...I reinstalled and I went with the defaults Allow IIS....the local
policies appear to be intact and correct...they are controlled on the
domain (so I can't edit) and my login is a domain login...but I work
remotely sometimes VPN...what else do you need to know? All apps/IIS are
local.
Thanks!

I think I solved it...domain policies do not allow IUSR...I'm asking for
a modification to their policy.

It was! The IUSR account now has log in locally permissions and all is
well again. ;-) They were quick!
Thanks for the help!
