Hi,

If i open my web page 127.0.0.1 i always have to logon first. How can I get
it to open the local page without requiring the logon. This is on an XP pro
laptop. I think my security settings got changed when i installed the latest
win xp upgrades from Microdoft.

Thanks for the help ;)

Set the site for anonymous access and remove Windows Authentication.

Make sure that IE is configured to automatically authenticate with current
username/password for the particular server name. Otherwise, you will have
to manually logon, no matter where the server is located, localhost or not.
